Bad mood and the health
Nowadays under such pressure, everyone is inevitably in a bad mood. There are more and more psychological counseling and psychotherapy. Many people even study psychology on their own. They can not only counsel others, but also help themselves. But in fact, bad mood is by no means a psychological problem, because human beings are emotional animals, body and mind are one, and they also influence each other. Bad mood can damage the body, and vice versa. Showing up, even the body is calling the police, telling you: "I'm not feeling well"
Do emotions affect health?
The answer to this question is yes! Many
doctors, psychiatrists, and psychologists acknowledge this. Before going into
specifics, let's look at an experiment: Elma's Emotion and Health Experiment
American psychologist Elma, in order to study the impact of anger on human health, conducted a very simple experiment: he put ice and water in a cup to form ice water at 0°C. Insert a glass test tube into a container with ice and water, and then collect the "gas and water" of people in different emotional states. The results showed that even the same person, when he was at peace, the breath he exhaled turned into water, clear and transparent, with no variegated color; when he was sad, there was a white precipitate in the "water"; when he was remorse, there was a light green precipitate; when he was angry, there was a Purple precipitate.
Elma also injected the "gas
water" of people's anger into the rat, but only a few minutes later, the
rat died. Through the above comparative experiments, Professor Elma came to the
conclusion after analysis and calculation:
1. When people are angry, they consume a
lot of human energy (biological energy). If a person is angry for 10 minutes,
the energy consumed is no less than participating in a 3000-meter race;
2. The physiological reaction of the human
body when angry is very violent, and it is difficult to maintain psychological
balance. The various biological secretions in the body are more complex and
diverse than the secretions produced by any other emotions, and have a certain
degree of biological toxicity! Very bad for health.
Elma's Emotion and Health Experiment not
only proves that angry emotions can affect our health, but also verifies that
the German scholar Kant said: Anger is to punish yourself for the mistakes of
others.
